UK Cabinet Reshuffle

Theresa May fears her position as UK Prime Minister after her own back benches have been voting against her views in recent weeks. Therefore she has no other choice other than to reshuffle her government cabinet.

This was reported after the sterling edged down against the dollar on Monday 8th January 2018, as investors eyed a reshuffle of Britain's cabinet, though most said bar any major surprises, the changes would unlikely to significantly move the pound.

The Daily Mail has reported May would create a new post to provide regular updates to the cabinet on preparations on leaving the European Union without any trade deal – an outcome the UK Government wants to avoid at all costs.
